Outstanding SAF Student Chapter Award

The Award will recognize the outstanding SAF Student Chapter in the nation, and its faculty adviser. The Award will be presented at the SAF National Convention and the school will be recognized in The Forestry Source.

2010 Student Chapter Website Award

The SAF Student Chapter Website Award honors the SAF Student Chapter with the best website design and content.

The winners of the first three places will be presented framed Certificates at the SAF National Convention and contest results will be published in The Forestry Source. All SAF Student Chapter websites qualify for entry.

The websites will be judged based on user friendliness, design, meaningful and useful content, relevant and accurate information, and links to other pertinent sites. In the event of tie, the degree of originality and the scope of information about the SAF, SAF student membership, and chapter projects will be considered.

SAF Student Poster Award

The SAF Forest Science and Technology Board (FS&TB) sponsors the Student Poster Award at the SAF National Convention. All interested undergraduate and graduate students who are the primary author of the poster are eligible for the award. Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and poster abstracts will be published in the Journal of Forestry.
