Most employers today are looking for students with good communications skills. This two-part workshop is designed to help you impress employers and sharpen your skills.

Part 1: Job Seeking and Resume Writing Skills
Thursday, October 26, 1:30 – 3:00 p.m.

Learn tips from the experts on how to write a great resume and how to handle a job interview. This will be especially helpful to those who will be visiting the Job Fair the following day. This will be of great help to anyone planning to enter the workforce in the next five years.

Part 2: General Communications Skills
Friday, October 27, 3:30 – 5:00 p.m. (right after the Job Fair)

Meet forestry professionals that will teach you how to give a great presentation to groups of people of all ages. You will leave this workshop with communications tools that will help you excel. It will be useful to you as a student and as you advance in your career.

This workshop is presented by the National Communications Committee and the F3 Working Group for Education and Communication.
