SAF 2006 National Convention

Student Reception and Orientation

4:00-5:00 pm

This is the official opening event for students and provides essential information on how to navigate through the SAF convention.

Students learn the importance of networking and interacting with professional foresters.

This session will kick-off with a welcome from former SAF President, Dr. Harry V. Wiant.

Students will form into groups of peers from many different institutions. The moderator will then provoke discussion within these groups on controversial topics that forestry professionals currently face.
