Each year, the Department of Defense conducts a forest management workshop in conjunction with the SAF Convention. Technical sessions, which are open to all attendees, focus on management strategies, success stories, and new technology that address the unique challenge of managing forest lands on DoD installations. This workshop is a good training opportunity fore natural resources professional who are responsible for maintaining forest landscapes for military training and operations.

Note: If you plan to attend the convention for one day only, then select the Thursday day-rate. Your registration fee for Thursday will include the User Group meeting, the Icebreaker Reception on Wednesday evening in the Exhibit Hall, and attendance to all the technical and scientific sessions as well as access to the Exhibit Hall on Thursday, November 6.
