Continuing Forestry Education


Note: CFE Certificates are available to attendees registered as members; nonmembers; speaker/poster presenters and retired members

Instructions on receiving a CFE certificate:

  1. Ticketed events - (Leadership Workshop; Breakfast with Chief; and Lunch with the Leaders) Tickets will have attendees' name and must be submitted at the door as proof of attendance.
  2. Tours - T1 through T6 Tickets will have attendees' name and must be submitted to tour leaders prior to departure as proof of attendance.
  3. Non ticketed events - (General sessions; scientific and technical sessions; ethics workshop; poster symposia; and Team Terresense workshop) Preregistered attendees received a personalized CFE Tracking Form via mail with name badge. Attendees registering onsite can acquire the form at the registration booth. Session code stickers will be distributed at the conclusion of the ethics workshop; poster symposium; Team Terresense workshop; general sessions (at 11:30 am); and scientific and technical sessions (before each break). Stickers must be placed on the CFE Tracking Form and forms must be returned to the registration booth BEFORE Saturday, October 3 at 5:00 pm in order to receive a CFE credit. Forms mailed or faxed to the SAF National Office after the convention will NOT be accepted.
  4. CFE certificates will be mailed to attendees after the convention. Please allow three weeks for processing. All SAF members and Certified Foresters® records will automatically be updated.
Instructions on receiving ISA Credits:
  1. Complete the ISA CEU Attendance Form which will be located in the back of the room where the session is approved for CEU credit.
