If you haven't already heard, this year the Society of American Foresters National Convention is being held in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Once again SAF is proud to include the Alumni Receptions as part of the convention. The Alumni Receptions are the premier event for universities of forestry to show appreciation for former students, reconnect with colleagues and build strong new relationships.

A limited block of reception rooms have been set aside by the Albuquerque Convention Center and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. I invite you to call Christopher Cardenas, Food & Beverage Sales Manager for the Albuquerque Convention Center (contact information below) to reserve your reception room today. Christopher will assign you a reception room and direct you with food and beverage and related orders.

• Note: Albuquerque Convention Center Room Rental - Each school will be considered a client of the Albuquerque Convention Center, sign separate paperwork, and set up separate master accounts. Each school will also contract with the Albuquerque Convention Center for all food and beverage orders. The Albuquerque Convention Center will provide food menus, cash/open bar options, personnel options and pricing for each. Tax and service charges will apply.

Each universities reception room assignment will be listed in the onsite attendee program. If you decide to host an alumni event at a different time/location, SAF will include the information in the program as long as it is provided on or before Wednesday, July 28, 2010.
