We invite you to participate in the annual SAF National Convention, the premier professional forestry and natural resources event in the United States. The 2012 convention program will highlight contemporary forest management issues and the scientific basis of forest stewardship and resilience.

In close proximity to the magnificent forests of the Inland Empire, our host city Spokane, Washington, offers a natural backdrop to discuss issues of importance to the entire forestry profession and provides an intrinsic opportunity for exploring the many links between the social, economic and ecological considerations that contribute to resilience. Built on the scenic Spokane River, the convention center is adjacent to the 100-acre Riverfront Park and within walking distance of a diverse and unique blend of arts and entertainment as well as an eclectic mix of dining venues.

We seek oral and poster presentations from diverse disciplines to pique attendees' interest and provide continuing education and exchange opportunities for foresters and natural resource professionals in all sectors of forestry.
