2008 Student Chapter Website Award
The SAF Student Chapter Website Award honors the SAF Student Chapter with
the best website design and content.
SAF values the excellent work of forestry students the future
of our profession. To recognize the work and talent you have expended
in producing your Student Chapter Website, we will post a list of all
entries and a link to each website on the SAF web page. In addition, the
winners of the first three places will be presented framed Certificates
indicating their placement. The Certificates will be presented at the
2008 National Convention in Reno, Nevada, and contest results
will be published in The Forestry Source.
All SAF Student Chapter websites qualify for entry.
The websites will be judged by the following point system:
User friendly, clear purpose 10 points
Design 10 points
Meaningful and useful content 10 points
Relevant and accurate information 10 points
Links to other pertinent sites 10 points
The sum of the judges' scores will determine the rankings of the entry.
In the event of ties or a need to refine differences in judges' scores, the degree of originality
and the scope of information about the SAF, SAF student membership,
and chapter projects will be considered.
We invite your SAF Student Chapter to participate in this exciting contest. All you have to do is mail or e-mail your entry form, by June 20, 2008, to:
